Toronto’s historic Old City Hall courthouse carries a rich history and was home to the Toronto City Council from 1899 to 1966.  It was converted to a criminal courthouse in the 1960s as the Toronto Eaton Centre was constructed.  The building will be converted into a museum upon the completion of the Toronto mega courthouse just north of City Hall.     

This courthouse deals with criminal matters that originate from Toronto Police Divisions 11, 12, 13 and 14.  The building contains many courtrooms, offices and staffed services including a cafeteria on the first floor.
